Concrete Countertops (or other custom concrete pieces)

One of the latest trends in kitchen design is concrete countertops! While concrete has been used around the world for decades as furniture (benches, tables, counters, etc…), we have recently been adopting concrete for its inherent natural beauty in our homes.

For countertops, we at Hyde Concrete typically build pre-cast counters. This means we template your desired area and build a custom mould in which to cast your countertop. To this mould we can add customized architectural elements such as integral drain boards and/or recessed soap dishes. Additionally, when we cast the concrete to the color of your choice, we can seed the surface of the concrete with colored glass, seashells, or other pieces that will then be permanently embedded into your counter. The concrete is then polished and sealed before it gets installed in your location.

We can also cast concrete in place for areas such as out door BBQ areas or other custom pieces. To these we can add color, texture and innumerable finishes. Contact us for your project needs.
